Remember, 401kCompass does not have access to your retirement account. Therefore, when you receive monthly allocation updates or Alerts, you must make the changes within your retirement account yourself.

Depending on our 40lk provider, this may be accompanied through the website provided by our 401k sponsor or your employer. In many cases, the 401k provider will offer phone support to aid you in making allocation changes.

You should make any changes and update as soon as possible after you receive them.

The 401k Compass newsletter will make you aware of allocation changes/updates on the first business day of each month. These updates will be delivered to you via email. The allocation Alerts caused by the 401k Compass Risk Management Indicators will also be sent via email to your email address. So, watch your inbox and make sure we have your best email address.

In most cases, you will not be charged to make allocation changes in your 401k or other retirement accounts. However, some 401k providers may levy a charge if too many changes are made within a time period (monthly or quarterly). Others may have restrictions on the number of changes that can be made over a period of time (monthly or quarterly). So, check with your company’s 401k provider to determine if charges or restrictions exist.

Our goal is to help you succeed. At 401kCompass we want all subscribers to fully understand how the 401kCompass Process works and the best way it can be applied. The fastest way to understand the process and philosophy is to read to the Overview, Process, Historical Returns, and Risk Management sections of the website, located in the About section. Also, in the Video section of the website, you’ll find videos discussing and demonstrating all aspects of the 401kCompass Process.

The free Demos offered are by far the best way to understand the 401kCompass process and ask specific questions regarding your situation. So, don’t be shy, ask for an individual Demo.

Check the 401k & 403b Library under the About section of the website. If you don’t find your company’s retirement plan, no worries. Simply supply us with the name of our retirement plan and a current list of all available funds within the plan. We’ll add it to our Library, free.

The process takes 1 to 2 weeks. When your retirement plan has been added we’ll let you know.
